Tipperary has a rich and vibrant food industry with an exceptional reputation for authentic home grown artisan produce. There 32 active members of the Tipperary Food Producer Network. Tipperary Food Producers is a network of dedicated producers includes cheese makers and bee-keepers, fruit farmers and cider makers, butchers and bakers and sauce and jam makers. We have producers of ice-cream and sorbet, vegetable oil, as well as sweets, chocolates and crisps. This diverse network of food producers have come together to create exceptional food experiences for visitors that choose Tipperary as their destination.
The Tipperary Food Producers have created food experience tours and tastings where visitors can learn about the history of the produce, the work involved and a sample of the sumptuous food.
