Tipperary Excel Centre

The Simon Ryan Theatre is a modern 360 seat Theatre featuring ‘state of the art’ facilities for the performer and the audience. It was opened by the Taoiseach Mr Bertie Ahern TD on May 5th, 2001. We offer an exciting mix of entertainment and art/cultural events throughout the year, aiming to provide something for everyone. Parking Facilities

Free parking is available in the Market Yard car park adjacent to the Theatre after 6.00pm with a moderate charge between 8.00am and 6.00pm. We request that patrons do not park directly in front of the Theatre or block emergency exits.

Theatre Bar

Situated on the 3rd floor adjacent to the balcony, the theatre bar has a wide selection of beverages. The bar is open to patrons half an hour before the performance and during the interval.

Why not use our Pre-Order/ Pre-Pay Theatre Bar service? Bar staff will be happy to take your order on arrival at the theatre to avoid interval delays and queuing, so that you can have your drink waiting for you at the interval.

Disabled Access

The Simon Ryan Theatre is wheelchair friendly with ramped access to the building and easy access to the Theatre with wheelchair seating in the front stalls (see seating plan). Access to the Theatre Bar is via the lift.
